Meet the Team

Annie McKnight, LMHC & LMFT

Co-founder

Annie works with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

She earned her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College with an emphasis in Couples and Family Therapy. She also completed specialized training at the Center for Trauma and Embodiment, becoming a certified Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator. Her integrative training reflects a belief that healing involves both the mind and body.

Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach that recognizes how past experiences shape the way people understand themselves, navigate challenges, and connect with others. Drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based practices, and systems theory, Annie tailors therapy to each client's unique needs and goals. She strives to create a collaborative, compassionate space where clients can build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate more fulfilling relationships.

Outside the therapy room, Annie enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, practicing yoga, walking her dog, and spending time with friends and family. She believes healing often extends beyond traditional therapy through movement, connection, nature, and moments of presence—an outlook that continues to shape both her personal life and clinical practice.

Alex Harris, LMHC

He believes therapy is a collaborative process and strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, gaining insight, and building confidence in navigating life's challenges.

Drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Family Systems Theory, and Adlerian Therapy, Alex tailors treatment to each client's unique needs. He enjoys helping clients better understand the patterns that shape their lives while developing practical skills that foster meaningful, lasting change.

Alex earned his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Couples and Family Therapy from William James College. His experience across a variety of mental health settings has strengthened his belief that every person deserves an approach that honors their unique story and strengths.

Outside the therapy room, Alex enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the outdoors through hiking and days by the lake. He values the balance and perspective that come from staying active, connecting with loved ones, and spending time in nature, and he encourages clients to discover the everyday experiences that help them feel grounded and renewed.
